Black Emperor seems to just make the same album over and over again and continue to get glazed for it. its alright but #3 of 2024? I don't think so. They can sure make names though, GREY RUBBLE - GREEN SHOOTS is such a fire name. |

| [Charli xcx] (Brat and it's completely different but also still brat) 1.5/10 | Even though album is way worse than the original by a fair bit I still think its a good time and 'Girl, so confusing featuring lorde' is way better than the original and one of the best songs this year. Edit: Actually I just heard the Yung Lean feature again and wow that song is dogshit I'm not even sure this is good. Edit: Another edit, this has grown off me even more, the 'Mean girls' remix is awful, as is 'So I', 'I might say something stupid' and 'I think about it all the time'. Edit: Alright last edit, third listen after I saw that somehow this had a critic score of 87 and it was even worse than the first two times. Now I am fairly sure I like this less than Vultures 2. |
| [LIGHTBREATHER] (▓ a desire ▓) 6/10 | Maybe I just don't get it but the whole first 10 or so minutes felt like just a continuous and painful stream of sounds which was pretty disorienting, if that was the point and if so good job. After that though I started enjoying it more, it started sounding kind of mystical and ethereal which was a nice recovery period for my blown out ear drums though 'a desire part 1' went on a bit too long. In general I also think this album sounded perhaps a little uncoordinated too, though I'm no music reviewer so maybe that was me missing the point again lol. I think my favourite songs were 'untitled-++++++ (or sorrow / intermission)'and 'untitled-+++++++++ (or nothing, version d / forgo)' (especially the latter). That song went hard and pulled this thing up like a full point. |

| [天気予報 [Weather Forecast]] (ひまわり画像 (Himawari gazou)) 2/10 | After seeing thelemonbreadd's day one review of this I decided to check it out and over the past couple of days I've just let this run in the background while I study and I'm pretty sure my brain tuned it out after like an hour, I don't know why white noise is rated so highly but alright. The only times I really noticed it was when it got real repetitive during some sections that I just had to skip because I don't want to develop a brain tumour. None of the songs on here are good, just ranging between bad and mid. |

This might have been the realist album ever made. I don't know how he did it but instead of making music this man put his soul into this shit and honestly it probably shouldn't even be considered an album because it feels like something very different, this is like a Kid Cudi horcrux. |

| [Angelo Badalamenti] (Soundtrack from Twin Peaks) 9/10  | My favourite ambient album of all time, it just feels like it's holding me close or something, this is exactly what an ambient album is meant to be, great work. Maybe I have to watch 'Twin Peaks' at some point. |
| [Lil Ugly Mane] (Mista Thug Isolation) 5/10 | Not at all what I expected after having heard 'VOLCANIC BIRD ENEMY AND THE VOICED CONCERN'. Maybe my expectations were too high but this is just not what I wanted, very disappointed and this is a pretty medicore album at best imo. |

Edit: 8.2 -> 9.5, grew on me quite a crazy amount, my least favourite song is still 'Welcome to the Machine' but if I'm being honest it's a banger too, this album is bullet proof and deserves the hype. |

Tbh the vocals are easily the worst part of this project and don't mesh well at all with the often good instrumentals. |

I was bawling my eyes out on it istg. Such a powerful album in every aspect. |

Even the remixes are super high effort and worth your time. I cant believe I just found out about this. I know this is rambly but I just cannot possibly articulate my thoughts on this right now, please just listen to it. Edit: 10 -> 9.5, it hurts but this album has grown off me a little. |

Some of the most beautiful, charming and mystical sounding music I've ever heard. I swear to god after this album ended I started hyperventilating and shit because I had my breath held the whole time. |
